Storyboard Text

  • exposition
  • you shouldn't go to the party! all you are is a maids daughter
  • but i'll die if i dont go!
  • beginning
  • where's the monkey?
  • it's in the kitchen. but don't tell anyone, it's a surprise!
  • conflict
  • i know all of luciana's friends, and you're not one of them
  • the exposition is when rosaura wants to go to luciana's party but her mom puts her down and tells her she shouldn't go because all she is is a maids daughter.
  • rising action
  • thank you very much, my countess
  • the beginning is when Rosaura goes to the party. This is the beginning because its when everything starts to happen.
  • rising action
  • i helped the magician and he said "thank you very much, my countess
  • the conflict is Rosaura and the girl with the bow arguing. The girl with the bow is trying to make Rosaura feel bad by asking her lots of questions and telling her she is not luciana's friend.
  • climax
  • you earned this, thank you, my pet
  • One part of the rising action is when Rosaura is a volunteer for a magic trick. When the trick is done, The magician calls Rosaura his little countess.
  • The other rising action is when Rosaura's mom comes to the party. instead of being mad and proving her mom wrong, she immediately tells her mom about the magician. This scene is leading up to the climax of the story.
  • I think the story ends on the climax, not the conclusion because it doesn't wrap things up. To me, this was the most important/exciting part of the story. This scene also includes the theme, which is to never get your hopes up too high.
