  • Decline of Serfdom
  • The Revival of Towns
  • Guilds & New Business Practices
  • Since there was new land the lords convinced the Serfs to move into the new land for more freedom
  • Early England – The Norman Conquest
  • The towns began to form and people were working and living there lives. Diseases began to spread and people would get mad at others. All though all this happened it was still an exciting place to live.
  • Reforming English Law
  • Guilds were leaders of labor. They were in charge of trading goods and setting up work conditions. They were incharge of the wages so without them the schedule and process of working would be different
  • King John of England
  • The Norman conquest of England began 11th-century when the army of England including people from the Norman, Breton, and French soldiers. They were led by Duke William II of Normandy.
  • Right now it was around a lot of crime and conflict. They needed to make a law from this type of situation. As it went on through the years they improved on it more and more
  • John also known as John Lackland was King of England from 6 April 1199 until his death in 1216. (24 December 1166 – 19 October 1216). He worked on the Magna Carta and helped create the Capetian dynasty.
