They told us we were partners that we would trade our furs for land and food now new settlers are taking our land and food. We are not getting anything and we are staving.
They moved into our homes and took our land and said it was theirs our children were staving
We worked through all sorts of weather to bring them furs and this is how they repay us by taking our land.
We were friend's now we will have to fight for our land.We feel betrayed and that makes us mad.
My father talks of starting conflicts. I fear what that will do to our people.
I'm scared for my future I wonder if the British and us will ever be friends again.
