  • Being a child miner, the children only get payed $1.00 a day for searching diamonds.
  • In Africa it can reach up to 125 degrees Fahrenheit, which makes the sand really hot. This makes the child be in pain because their flesh gets burned off their feet.
  • When you are a child miner, you wake up at the crack of dawn and work late (even if the sun is down). This is really tiring, especially because their children.
  • Lastly, being a child miner means you can't attend school. A lot of miners are under sixteen years old and leave school, just to help their families.
