In Africa it can reach up to 125 degrees Fahrenheit, which makes the sand really hot. This makes the child be in pain because their flesh gets burned off their feet.
When you are a child miner, you wake up at the crack of dawn and work late (even if the sun is down). This is really tiring, especially because their children.
Lastly, being a child miner means you can't attend school. A lot of miners are under sixteen years old and leave school, just to help their families.
