Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • ''There she is, George '' "The new neighbors, for goodness sake.''
  • ''There who is ?''
  • I think the first two pages of the story included the exposition because those two pages introduced the characters of the nosy neighbors and of the strange new neighbors.
  • Rising Action
  • I think think this is the rising action because this was when Lillian Wright met the wife who lived at the Sakkaro's residence to set up a event where they could get to know each other.
  • Rising Action
  • I think this event is apart of the rising action on page 4 because this event reveals how clean the neighbor's residence is and how much they care about their house.
  • Climax
  • I think this event is that climax because this is when Lilian Wright tells George that the new neighbors and them are going to go to Murphy's Park.
  • I also think this event is apart of the falling action on pages 5 through the beginning of 7 because it is when the observant neighbors discover the new neighbors only want to eat cotton candy,
  • ''I offered to stand Sakkaro a hamburger and he just looked grim and shook his head .''
  • Falling Action
  • Resolution
  • I think this event shows the resolution of the story in the middle of page 7 because Lillian Wright witnesses the new neighbors turn into piles of wet heaps because they were affected by the rain. This event leads the reader to believe that the new neighbors were not from Earth.
