Storyboard Text

  • I'm good, *giggles*, how are you? and no we haven't.
  • Good morning, how are you guys doing today? By the way, have you guys heard from Jacob? He has been late for the late 3 days and hasn't called in.
  • Okay you know what, get to work I'll speak to you in a bit.
  • Hey Jacob, 55 minutes late again? What is up with you? I need to have a serious conversation with you now!
  • *Ahh*, I am so sorry! I just have a lot going on in my life right now which is causing me to stay up all night to complete the work I need to complete for here.
  • Man I'm sorry, I think I'm going to finish some work during my break; I'll eat when I get home I don't really have an appetite right now.
  • Hey Jacob, do you want to grab food from outside today with Sarah and I?
  • Have a good lunch you two, is Jacob also heading out with you guys?
  • Maham, the manager of the claims department has three team leaders which help her oversee the entire department. Sarah and Mark showed up on time but where is Jacob she wonders...
  • Thanks, you too! Oh, no Jacob said he was going to do some work during his break and eat whe he got home.
  • Thank you, you too.
  • Jacob walks in late to work for the third day in a row without a call in or an explanation. His manager, Maham, wants to have a serious conversation with him but he needs to get started with his work which is why Maham says she will talk to him later.
  • I know, I just have too much going on in my life which is slowing me down and I cant keep up with my work. I have been pulling all-nighters for the last 3 nights which is why I have been late to work. Also, I'd really appreciate if you took off any tasks you are able too; or even if you made me a timeline for when I need to complete each task by.
  • Hey Jacob, why are you working during your break? How do you expect to be focused for the meeting you have later? You need to take care of yourself first. If you need me to take some workload away from you, I am here for that.
  • Lunchtime is around the corner and Mark asks Jacob if he wants to join Sarah and him for lunch as they were going out. Jacob refused to go as he decided he was going to eat at home because he didn't have an appetite and wanted to finish work during lunch.
  • Consider it done, next time Jacob make sure you come ask for help; your health is a lot more important. If you feel as if the workload is overwhelming come talk to me.
  • Thanks Maham, I appreciate it; I honestly didn't realize how stressful it was in the moment.
  • As Mark and Sarah were heading out, Maham spots them and tells them to enjoy their lunch and asks if Jacob is joining them. Marks tells Maham that Jacob said he was going to do some work during his break instead and eat the home.
  • Maham knows Jacob has a meeting after his lunch break so she heads into his office asking why he isn't eating. Jacob begins to explain that he has been pulling all-nighters to complete his assigned task and it has been difficult for him. Maham suggests that she can take some workload away so he can catch up with work and also focus on himself.
  • Maham tells Jacob that next time he should come talk to her if he is going through something as she is there to help him out along with everyone else.
