  • SOON, FOXES ARE INTRODUCED IN THE ENVIRONMENT AND THE BEAVERS ARE LEFT DEFENSELESS

  • Due to the new predators on land, the beavers have resorted to cutting down trees to create dams. However the smaller-toothed beavers are not able to cut the wood, leaving them defenseless
  • Soon foxes are introduced to the environment and the beavers cannot reside on land anymore. 
  • Due to the new predators on land, the beavers have resorted to cutting down trees to create dams. However the smaller-toothed beavers are not able to cut the wood, leaving them defenseless
  • All the small-toothed beavers die out because they cannot cut wood to build dams and cannot escape the predators. 
  • Only the large-toothed beavers are able to survive and reproduce, meaning the the entire beaver population ends up having large teeth.
