Storyboard Text

  • Symbolism
  • Spirit please no, I have learned so much from the three ghosts and I am ready to change. There is much I need to make up for in my future.
  • For the first time the ghost finger appeared to shake, Scrooge's future is not decided, yet.
  • Theme
  • The importance of being thankful for what you have and also how it is important to be positive in life.
  • Mmmmm all the food is wonderful!!
  • God Bless us all!
  • Hello honey, we missed you! How was work?
  • Internal Conflict
  • Hello my darlings, I missed you all very much, work was great. Belle I have some news for you.
  • This all will teach you.
  • Why sprit? Why do you bring me to this terrible place? I wish to go! Take me away!
  • The Ghost of Christmas future is showing Scrooge that he needs to change now or else his life will not be any longer. The symbolism is that the ghost's finger was shaking proving that Scrooge's death might not happen right away, the future is not determined just yet and the future is determined by your actions/decisions you make.
  • Symbolism
  • The Chrachits are poor and do not have much and with the bad treatment Scrooge gives Mr. Crachit and Tiny Tim's sickness. Even though all these bad things were happening in their lives they still were in the Christmas spirt and were positive all day long.
  • Indirect Characterization
  • Hello father, we missed you!!!!!
  • Scrooge once had a beautiful and charming girlfriend, Belle and he loved her. Then as the years went by Scrooge started to change into a bad person and Belle broke up with him. Now when Scrooge and the ghost of Christmas Past see Belle all grown up with her husband and children Scrooge realizes what he has missed out on and now understands that he needs to change, for the better.
  • Indirect Characterization
  • Scrooge & Marley
  • The ghost of Christmas Present was showing Scrooge how everyone has Christmas spirt no matter the situation, most people were poor or worked hard, and were away from their families but they were still happy and enjoying the holiday. The ghost was representing the joy and happiness of everything in England. The ghost was showing Scrooge that he has everything and he needs to change and show some Christmas spirt.
  • Look at all these men working hard on Christmas day and are still in the Christmas spirt even though they are away from their families.
  • Dickens indirectly characterizes Scrooge when he first sees the ghost of the future. Scrooge was very fighten of him, but Scrooge said to the ghost that he knew the ghost was there to teach and help him so he can become a better person. He was willing and wanting to go with the ghost.
  • I fear you the most spirt because of your silent shape, but I am wanting you to show me more to help me change and become a better person.
  • Good afternoon Mr. Scrooge! We are here today raising money for the poor. Many of the poor people say they would rather die than be living under these hard working conditions. How much can we put you down for?
  • When Scrooge is talking to the two gentle men trying to raise money for the poor, Dickens indirectly characterizes Scrooge by showing his greed and unkindness. When the gentle men were explaining how some of them would rather die than work. Scrooge says he supports these places and if the people would rather die then they should.
  • Put me down for none! I support these places and if the poor would rather die, then they should... and decrease the surplus.
