  • Hamilton wanted to expand the economy and increase the USA's wealth by using government power to promote trade and business. This was because he wanted the USA to become the most powerful and wealthy nation in the world.

  • He thought that wealthy superiors should be in charge since they had already been educated and brought up in a good family.He thought this because, the average person was not educated and therefore unknowledgeable and antiquate to lead.
