Flashes Carrie’s face between each word… NARRATOR: “You” CARRIE: “If I concentrate hard I can make things move” NARRATOR: “Will Know” CARRIE: “Please, stop trying to trick me.” NARRATOR: “Her Name” CARRIE: “I’ve been asked to prom.” NARRATOR: “Carrie” CARRIE: Why not? I’ve been hurt my whole life.
Carrie is walking down the hall and being picked on my classmates. Voice 1: “You are so weird” Voice 2: “What are those” Voice 3: “No one likes you” Voice 4: “Get out of here”
In the library Carrie is being asked to prom. (No Dialogue) Tommy approaches Carrie while she is reading and asks her to prom. Carrie looks uncertain at first but then responds in excitement.
Carrie rushes home to ask her mom if she could go to prom with Tommy. MARGARET: “Prom?” CARRIE: “His name is Tommy Rose and he is a very nice boy.” MARGARET: No! No! No! Margaret yells as she slams her hand on the table. CARRIE: “I’m going momma, Momma. And things are going to change around here.” Carrie raises her hand to shut the door. MARGARET: “Witch!” Carrie uses her powers to close her mother’s mouth and lock her in the closet. CARRIE: “ You can come out when I get back from prom.” NARRATOR: “Will Carrie actually have a successful prom night or will the misfits find a way to ruin her night.” CHRIS: “Do it Billy!” “Do it Now!” With a devilish grin Billy raises the axe to cut the pig Chris carries off the pig’s blood in a bucket.
Prom Scene ANNOUNCER: “We now announce Carrie White and Tommy Ross as prom queen and king!” The couple slowly walks up to be crowned. Billy and Chris drop the bucket of pig’s blood on to the couple. Tommy dies from the bucket being dropped.
Carrie becomes very and angry and rises up staring at everyone laughing at her. NARRATOR: “Will it be there best night or there LAST.” flashes Carrie’s face covered in pig’s blood… 3 flashes NARRATOR: “You will know her name.” WHISPER VOICE: “Carrie...Carrie...Carrie”
