  • Geography and Location Of Rome.
  • Myth Of Romulus and Remus.
  • Etruscan influence of engineering on the Romans.
  • A city-state that is on a peninsula. Which is in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea.
  • Etruscan influence of sports on the Romans.
  • Two brothers who were supposed to be drowned on purpose but were found and raised by a pack of wolves and grew up to become kings of Rome. One another fought to pick the name of the city and Remus died so Romulus named Rome, Rome.
  • Greek influence of architecture on the Roman civilization.
  • The Romans became great builders. They learned many techniques about engineering from the Etruscan.
  • Greek influence of writing, art, and religion on the Romans.
  • The Romans adopted two sports from the Etruscan's. One was slave fighting. Another was to have slave fights at the owners funeral. 
  • Ancient Greek architectural style that heavily influenced later architecture is the Colonnade.  A colonnade is row of columns that support an entablature and roofs.  Another is the Roman Colosseum.
  • Influence on writing is the Romans borrowed and adopted the alphabet. Roman writers were inspired by Greek poetry and myths.
