BATTLE OF BUNKER HILL
DECLARATION OF INDEPENDANCE
The Boston Massacre happened on March 5, 1770, when an crowd of angry colonist protesters were shot at by British troops. 3 people were killed. This was a key event in increasing the patriot cause.
The Battle of Bunker Hill actually took place on Breed's Hill. 400 patriots were killed and 1,000 British soldiers were killed. The patriots lost the war because they ran out of ammunition but the war presented that the patriots had a chance to win the war.
The Deceleration of Independence was drafted by Thomas Jefferson on July 4, 1776. It declared the 13 colonies independent from the British crown. The signing of the Independence happened at the Pennsylvania State House.
