It was spring break and Austin's parents rented a cabin near a lake with woods surrounding it. He didn't want to be stuck with them, as mean as that sounds, so he called my friends Hannah and Peter to see if they wanted to come. The parents still had some packing to do, so the three friends were told that they would meet the adults the next day at the cabin.
At the cabin, Austin decided to rent a boat. Peter decided against it. He felt it was better to wait until tomorrow, with the parents around. The boys left the decision to Hannah. She agreed with Peter, thinking it would be better with adult supervision, but your parents aren't always going to be with you. Sometimes you need to make decisions for yourself. So she promised Peter that they wouldn't be on the boat for to long.
A little while later, the three found a cave nearby. Of course Austin got excited and wanted to run in and explore every inch of it. Once again Peter was wary about the idea. This time Hannah didn't get a say in this because Austin grabbed her hand and dragged her in. Peter was going to go in to get her and yell at Austin. But he got scared and figured they would be alright and just wait for them . He said he would help them if anything happened though.
Unluckily Austin and Hannah went deep in the cave. They eventually found an underground river that was staring to rise up faster and faster by the minute. Thanks to Peter constantly worrying about them he went in the cave to find them. He saw the water rising and grabbed them. They all ran back to the boat and went back to the cabin. Still terrified of the recent events they all agreed to sleep on it and talk the next day.
The next day, Austin decided to go take a hike in the woods that surrounded the cabin. Hannah and Peter both agreed that Austin came up with the stupidest ideas ever. Even though hiking isn't a bad idea, yesterday proved that it would be smarter to listen to Peter a bit more than Austin. Plus Austin's parents came that day and wanted to meet at the beach next to the lake. So that is what the three ended up doing.
Austin's parents came up with a fun game. It was called: WHO RENTED THE BOAT YESTERDAY, AUSTIN? Austin was happy to play and blamed it all on Peter. Now Peteer had to defend himself, while Hanah just stared at the two idiots who somehow became her friends. Even though all three were friends, Hannah had to do what was sort of right. She told Mr. and Mrs. Phillips that it was her idea. It got Austin out of trouble and in a way she did say it would be alright if they did rent a boat and completely ignore Peter. Following her lead, Austin also came clean, and Peter just stood there with his annoying pefect kid smile and said that he was innocent and ended up saving them. Which only led to Hannah and Peter getting lectured by the adults that they should be more like Peter.
