  • Oh Nuptune, do you not know that I am more powerful?
  • One day a man on the beach ran into Neptune, god of the ocean.
  • Ha ! You are simply a mortal.
  • The man claimed that he was better than Neptune.
  • Ah but you are not as handsome or charming as you think.
  • You are quite foolish to think so!
  • The man and Neptune go to town to see which one is better, but Neptune has to go dressed as a regular person.
  • Let us go to town then and see who is greater.
  • Fine. I will have to go in a costume. I can not be recodnized.

  • What Neptune did not know was that Venus, the goddess of love and beauty, was helping the man. She loved making other gods jealous.
  • This is so much fun!
  • Neptune was getting angry. He knew some sort of magic was going on. In fury he threw off his costume and let the town know who he was.
