Storyboard Text

  • My name is María. I was born in Cádiz in 1990. I am sure I may not have had the most interesting childhood in the world but I always remember it because of all the funny moments I used to spend with my parents. The best moment of my childhood was my sister's birth. I was over the moon when I saw her face for the first time.
  • I was looking foward to my first day at school. I met a lot of people there. Nowdays Some of my classmates are still my friends. My biggest problem arrived when I had to move to another city.
  • I moved to Arcos de la Frontera when I was ten years old. I thought it was going to be the worst situation in my life... but I suddendly realised it was just the best. I have had the opportunity to be constantly in touch with my grandparents. They both are all the energy I need. In 2002 I started high school. My first nights out, my first love, the first time I dyed my hair... By that time... I started to feel myself.
  • In 2008 I moved to Seville to start university. I studied Primary school teaching, majored in English language. When I finished my degree I didn't want to go back home, so I decided to study psicopedagogía. Thanks to the goverment, I had the opportunity to go abroad several times to study English. I have been to London, Dublin and Edimburgh. I love travelling and English language so all these moments have provided me unforgettable memories and enriching situations.
  • After finishing my studies... I was feeling blue because of the economic crisis... I was feeling unable to find a job. one day... my phone rang... It was my actual boss asking for me to attend a job interview. I was full of energy and at the end I got the job!
  • Being on the other side of the table has always been my dream. And it is said that drems come true. I am having the best time of my life. My six year old pupils give me the motivation to do my best.
