"Eleanor of Aquitaine led the sort of life which legends are made." Eleanor was a very strong women. "She came to believe that there should be an equal among the sexes."
Eleanor was married to two men. Louis VII of france was her first husband but he disqualified the marriage because he did not want to wait for an heir. "She married louis's greatest political rival, Henry II of England." She had ten kids with henry.
That was not a very good idea
Henry wanted all of the power for himself and this made Eleanor mad so she talked her children into uprising against him. Henry found out her plan and threw her into jail. Eleanor did get out of jail and her name became very well known.
