Exposition: Characters-Whitney, Rainsford, Zaroff, Ivan
Conflict: "Tonight said the general we will hunt you and I. Rainsford shook his head no general he said i will not hunt," (Connell 73).
"Something was coming through the bush coming slowly carefully coming by the same winding way Rainsford had come," (Connell 76).
"He knew his pursuer was coming he heard the padding sound of feet of the soft earth," (Connell 78).
"His foot touched the protruding bough that was the trigger. Even as he touched it the general sensed his danger," (Connell 77).
Climax: "Three feet from the pit a man was standing, with and electric torch in his hand," (Connell 78).
Falling Action: "Twenty feet below him the sea rumbled hissed. Rainsford hesitated he heard the hounds. Then he leaped far out into the sea," (Connell 80).
Resolution: "The general sucked in his breath and smiled I congratulate you he said. you won the game," (Connell 80).
Theme: The whole them was about the hunter and the runner. The hunter tried to get the runner but failed
