  • Beginning: Childlike
  • Middle: Transitioning
  • Lizbeth stop! Stop!!!
  • End: Adultlike
  • Lizbeth's child-like character at the beginning of the story was to have fun and play games and trick on Ms. Lottie.   
  • Lizbeth's transitioning  character from child into adulthood in the middle of the story was to be rebellious like when she went to Ms. Lottie's and destroy all of her beautiful Marigolds. This was also when she knew that she had to growup
  • Lizbeth's adultlike character as she approaches adulthood at the end of the story, was that she realized that she had to grow up and she learn her lesson to think to see how her actions would effect others. In the end she grew her own Marigolds.
