Why Wolves Hunt in Packs
These wolves stay in their own group and hunt together.
This wolf is a lone wolf and hunts by himself.
The lone wolf is out hunting. However, because he is alone, he is unable to catch enough prey.
The wolves hunting in packs are able to catch prey and are not left hungry. Meanwhile the lone wolf dies from hunger.
The wolves that hunted in packs survive and continue to reproduce and hunt in packs. Their wolf pups also grow up to hunt in packs. This way, the wolves who hunt in packs all get enough food.
