Sarah Robinson: The main character in the book "Trapped". She has to learn to deal with the fact that her dad will be frozen for quite some time. And she has to also work with her step brothers, (who she doesn't really like) to be able to save her dad. She also needs to earn The Curator (Leo's) trust.
The Curator (Leo): The main antagonist in the book "Trapped". He has frozen Sarah's dad, stepbrother Nacho, and dog (Ahab). He's also an alien, and you're probably thinking that he looks like a normal person, but he can shape shift into human form. But in his natural form, he has gills and webbed hands and feet.
Marco: Sarah Robinson's stepbrother. Him and Sarah need to gain the Curator's trust, and learn to work together so they can save their family members.
Conflict: There are two main conflicts in the book Trapped. One of the conflicts is that the Curator has trapped Sarah and Marco's family in frozen tubes for an experiment. The other conflict is that the only person that knows about the island comes, and is out for the same treasure that Sarah, Marco, the Curator, and Nacho are looking for. And he's willing to kill their whole family to get his hands on the treasure.
Dialogue: There is a lot of dialogue throughout the book Trapped. Mostly in the beginning, because Marco and Sarah have to figure out who the Curator is, what he's up to, and why he's doing this experiment. They also need to communicate to try and find the treasure.
Point Of View: The point of view is in third person. The narrator uses the characters names, there is no use of the words "I, me, we, my, or our" when the narrator is telling the story.
