Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr
Martin Luther King Jr. (1929-1968) Martin Luther King Jr. was a Baptist minister and one of the most influential social activists during the Civil Rights Movement. King was responsible for organizing the Montgomery Bus Boycotts along with the March on Washington. King's peaceful protest philosophy along with his "I Have A Dream" speech helped to spark an era of social change and progress in America.
MLK's "I Have A Dream" speech was delivered in front of a crowd of over 250,000 Americans from all over the country. Those four words have become some of the most iconic in American History.
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.
