Storyboard Text

  • The National Bank is a broken system, it favors manufacturing and industry... I want it gone
  • You guys love me, I am for the "common man". Therefore I will get rid of The National Bank on your behalf! You are welcome.
  • Andrew Jackson was a man in favor of westward expansion. He believed The National Bank was in favor of industry, so Jackson did not like it.
  • Jackson got rid of The National Bank because he believed he had the "common people's" support to do so. This was against the decision of Congress, and the Supreme Court.
