Storyboard Text

  • Paul Fisher and his family are always on the move. With his brother Erik who plays football and gets all the attention, they are moving from Huntsville to Tangerine County, Florida. Tangerine is full of very weird things, including a fire that burns under the ground, sinkholes, and lightning.
  • Paul Fisher has thick glasses that he got from, according to his family, looking at a solar eclipse. But he doesn't believe that. And when he trys out for the soccer team, the coach says he can't play due to his "IED", which states that he is legally blind.
  • IED: Legally Blind
  • Erik is Paul's mean brother. When Erik's teammate is struck by lightning and dies, Erik and his mean friend Arthur laugh about it. Then at Mike's funeral, Paul gets invited to a carnival by a friend.
  • HAHAHAHA HE'S DEAD
  • IED: Legally Blind
  • Then on one rainy day, Paul's school gets swallowed by a sinkhole! That makes him transfer to Tangerine Middle, where his IED "disappears" so he can play soccer. He meets Tino, Theresa, Victor, and Henry. But when Joey transfers, and gets teased from Tino and Victor, he overreacts and makes everything awkward.
  • After football practice one day, Luis Cruz go's up to Erik and confronts him about hitting Tino. Erik then orders Arthur to hit Luis with a blackjack. Arthur hit him on the side of his head, rupturing his blood vessel and causing Luis to have an aneurysm the next week and die.
  • To avenge Luis, Tino and Victor come to Paul's school's football awards ceremony. When Erik and Arthur are about to receive their awards, Tino and Victor come down from the stands, tackle, then start punching Erik and Arthur. But when the coach tries to help Erik and Arthur, Paul jumps on the coach's back and holds him back so he can't get to Victor and Tino.
