  • Hello everyone, we are the Education group. In this group, the members are Matthew, Liam, Melissa, James and Fenice. Our mentor is Mr. Ernesto. Now here's a short summary about our group's PYP Exhibition.
  • Our Central Idea is equality provides equal opportunities for a better quality of life.
  • Our Lines of Inquiry are: 1. Inequality around us. 2. The effects of equal opportunities to a betquality of life. 3. Actions that can be taken to provide equal opportunity.
  • Our Transdisciplinary Theme is sharing the planet.
  • Fenice
  • 1. To help and share knowledge of Basic English Communication.
  • 3. To impart and iprove to make someone's life more meaningful.
  • 2. To encourage and inspire that it is possible to attain changes in your life.
  • Our purposes are :
  • 1. Many people don't go to school.
  • 2. Not enough money or no means to get proper education.
  • 5. Mentally and physically disabled people are not being treated fairly.
  • 4. Some people are hesitant to share knowledge.
  • 3. Lack of encouragement.
  • 6. Some people are misleading others to an improper and incorrect way of education.
  • Our issues are:

  • 6. Show the victims of misled education the impacts of their misled education and what they can gain from not doing these things politely.
  • 5. Give the disabled people activities so that they can enhance and show their talents (music, drawing, etc).
  • 4. Open the people who are hesitant to help to the current educational situation of the poor and tell them how they can help.
  • 3. Politely tell them the disadvantages of incomplete education and the advantages and impacts of learning.
  • 1. Interview the poor people about their education (5W + 1H) and privately teach them Basic English, computer usage, etc.
  • Our solutions are:
  • 2. Do all those things for free.
  • For sorting out, we discussed and finalized what we will and will not do with our parents.
  • For making a connection, we related everything into the actions of teaching Basic English and visiting and playing with grandmas.
  • For going further, we executed a teaching plan and visited an elderly home to play with the grandmas.
  • For finding out, we added some details to our plans and decided to teach less fortunate people.
  • As for the action, we taught absolute beginners Basic English Communication and entertained the grandmas at an elderly home.
  • We also followed the IB Learning Cycle.
  • For tuning in, we simply discussed about our issues, purposes, solutions and plans.
