Storyboard Text

  • Tyndareus: "Hmmmm, Interesting, you believe these men would swear such an oath- even before the gods?" Odysseus wants the suitors to make an oath so a war doesn't happen, so he talks to the king about it.
  • Penelope: "Don't try your tricks on me, Odysseus. You have my hand- and my heart." Odysseus and Penelpe get married and have a child named Telemachus.
  • Narrator: "Palamedes stepped forward- into the path of the stampeding beasts- and laid Telemachus down upon the ground." Odysseus pretends to go mad so he doesn't have to enter the war and Palamedes does this to prove that Odysseus hasn't gone mad.
