Slaves in Egypt
"GET TO WORK!!!"
The LORD calls Moses
“I have heard all your sorrows and cries, I am aware”
“ Put blood on your door and window frames and my death angel will spare the lives inside the shelter. Anyone who does not follow this will be killed”
Passage- "They made their lives bitter with harsh labor in brick and mortar and with all kinds of work in the fields; in all their harsh labor the Egyptians worked them ruthlessly.”
The Crossing of the Red Sea
Passage- Then the Lord told him, “I have certainly seen the oppression of my people in Egypt. I have heard their cries of distress because of their harsh slave drivers. Yes, I am aware of their suffering.”
Passage- “For the Lord will pass through the land to strike down the Egyptians. But when he sees the blood on the top and sides of the doorframe, the Lord will pass over your home. He will not permit his death angel to enter your house and strike you down.“
“Then Moses raised his hand over the sea, and the Lord opened up a path through the water with a strong east wind. The wind blew all that night, turning the seabed into dry land.”
