Storyboard Text

  • Lennie and George are introduced to the reader. They walk down to the river, following the path. This is where they stay the night.
  • The bus gave us a hard time and we had to walk 10 miles.
  • Why weren't you here in the morning?
  • Strong as a bull.
  • Later that night George and Lennie started a fire and cooked beans for their dinner. George and Lennie did have a fight but settled down to go to the farm the next day.
  • What pup, George? I ain’t got no pup.
  • Lennie i told you you couldn't bring that pup in here.
  • The next day Lennie and George went to the farm to start working. They walked in and looked around at the white washed walls. Then a man walked in and said, " Boss expecting you last night.
  • If you want me to, I’ll put the old devil out of his misery right now and get it over with. Ain’t nothing left for him. Can’t eat, can’t see, can’t even walk without hurtin’.
  • The boss comes in now and asks for their work slips. George gives them to him, but the boss asks why they were not here in the morning. Then the boss asked them their names, George replied with " Im George Milton and thats Lennie Small." George talked about how Lennie was a good worked " Strong as a bull."
  • Lennie comes in and walks over and lays down on the bunk facing the wall. George tells him to bring the pup back and he does. Slim then brings up how he is such like a kid.
  • Carlson came into the bunk house and complained about Candy's dog and how he smelled. Carlson wanted to get rid of the dog and so did everybody else. Then Carlson took the dog out into the dark and off in the distance you could hear a bang.
