  • Prophase II
  •  Metaphase II
  • The cells are now two!
  • Anaphase II
  • In prophase II, the chromosomes, that now consist of two chromatids, become visible.
  • Telophase II and Cytokinese
  • During Metaphase II, the chromosomes line up in the center of each cell.
  • 4 Haploid Daughter Cells
  • Anaphase II follows which is when the paired chromosomes separate.
  • Telophase II and Cytokinesis in meiosis II, are very similar to meiosis I, except this results in four daughter cells which will contain just two chromosomes each.
