Hello, I am Christmas ice cube! I am here to explain the states of matter!
I have a pretty low energy level. I have a definite shape and volume. These circles are my molecules.
I am a solid right now. My molecules are tightly compressed and move very little.
Oh no! This sun is melting me! I think I've reached my melting point. I'm turning into a liquid!
The arrangement of my molecules are not as neat as a solid. I have no definite shape or volume.
My particles are more spread out now and move past each other more easily. My particles are also warm and move briskly.
This stove below is making me reach my boiling point. I think I'm turning into a gas! I'm evaporating!
My molecules are hot and move very quickly. They are the most spread out now, I feel so free!
I have no definite shape or volume. You can barely see me.
That's all for now from Christmas ice cube! Merry Christmas and other holidays!
