  • The Capulet (red) and Montague (blue) families are in a feud. They both have equal wealth and power. The two families both live in Verona. Often the two families fighting would result in townspeople getting hurt. Then two star-crossed-lovers meet and choose their own destiny.
  • Climax
  • The two families run into each other in public, they draw their weapons, but the prince stops them. Romeo is upset about his current lover, and hears of a masquerade party being held by the Capulet family. Romeo sneaks into the party and sees Juliet. He instantly falls in love. Romeo approaches Juliet, and Juliet falls in love with Romeo. Soon Romeo had to leave, but he went to Juliet at her balcony and confessed his feelings.
  • Falling Action
  • Romeo and Juliet get married in secret. Soon Juliet's cousin Tybalt kills Romeo's friend Mercutio. As revenge Romeo kills Tybalt. Romeo is then banished from Verona for Tybalt's death.
  • Resolution
  • Juliet's family remind Juliet that she must marry Paris, but because she is already married to Romeo she must find help. Friar then helps Juliet by giving her a potion that will make her appear dead for 48 hours. Juliet drinks the potion and her family puts her in a family tomb. One of Romeo's friends sees this and tells Romeo. Romeo sees Juliet 'dead' and drinks a poison to kill himself. Juliet soon wakes up and sees Romeo dead and kills herself using a dagger.
  • Before Juliet had the potion Friar sent Romeo a letter. Romeo never got the letter. Friar enters the tomb and sees Romeo and Juliet dead. Friar then goes to tell the Capulet family and Montague family of their deaths.
  • The Capulet family and the Montague family hear of Romeo and Juliet's death. The two families finally stop their feud.
