  • not everyone deserves the gold of the sun and you foolish god does it anyway
  • Apollo heard of these words and gave Midas the "gift" that made everything he touched gold
  • well how am i suppose to live without being able to eat or drink?!!!
  • Midas the king loved gold more than anything and hated the god Apollo for shinning the suns gold over everyone
  • oh please Apollo have mercy and remove this terrible curse
  • The god Apollo heard of the things Midas was speaking and rather than punish him he gave him a "gift" that mad everything Midas touched turn to gold.
  • You are to never speak of my ears to anyone, and if you do it will cost you your head
  • At first Midas was happy with his gift, then he turned his daughter to gold and realized he would never be able to eat or drink anything because it would turn to gold once it touched his lips
  • Thank you so much Apollo!
  • Apollo agreed to take the gift away, However; for being a foolish greedy man Apollo gave him donkey ears as a punishment.
  • Midas's servant was unable to keep his secret and infuriated Midas and ordered his head to be chopped off. Then Midas reconsidered and had mercy on the peasant.
  • Apollo seen his act of mercy and told Midas since he had learned his lesson he would takeaway the donkey ears and he would be completely free.
