Pyramus and Thisbe "A most lamentable comedy" (I,ii,11).
Pyramus, I love you so much. I wish our families would allow us to be together.
Thisbe, I've had it. Lets meet by Ninus' Tomb tomorrow night and run away together.
Uh-oh! That lion has my veil. No time to get it, I better run and hide; he looks hungry.
HMMMM. I'd like to play with this veil like it was a mouse.
Why is Thisbe's veil bloody? Did that lion running away eat her because I got here late?
I cannot live without my Thisbe. If she is dead because of me then I will not go on without her.
STOP PYRAMUS!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Why would you kill yourself???
With Pyramus dead Thisbe saw no reason to go on. She took her own life with the same sword that killed her beloved. Their blood soaked the ground and forever stained the fruit from the mulberry tree red instead of white.
