- Cool....so what are we doing here again?

- Ok fine I'll do a quick recap of why we're here
- It's only embarrassing if you make it that way
- Some people like James Tallmage want it to be a free state
- Missouri wants to become a State in the U.S.
- They want to be recognized as a slave state
- Slavery vs Non Slavery is already a touchy subject between the North and South
- We currently have 11 free and 10 slave states. Making Missouri free as some suggest would upset the delicate balance of power
- And how we feel pretty confident that it will last a while? Make people happy?
- Where everything North of the 36th parallel would be free?
- Remember when we came to a compromise?
- Well today we're gonna officially pass the Bill
