The battle of New Orleans was an easy win. When the British realized they weren't hitting us , they attempted to advance where we took our victory.
Within court Gibbons v. Ogden Marshall's decision helped make the proper clause. Marshall had managed to expand federal power making everyone proud.
Steamboats were a faster, cheaper, and more efficient way of transportation. The Erie Canal also helped provide the importance of steamboats. The existence of the erie canal and steamboats increased communication between different religions and new economic growth, expanding growth in general.
