Parametric functions: any of a set of equations that express the coordinates of the points of a curve as functions of one parameter or that express the coordinates of the points of a surface as functions of two parameters.
Let's say there was a cliff 50 feet high on the y axis. The time you fall is 5 ft per second. Use the equation x (t)= 5t +10 to figure out what t, x, and why would be if t is 0.
The answer is t=0, x=10, and y=50.
Great job! Now you know how to solve parametric functions.
