  • Rapunzel is a young girl with incredibly long, golden hair. Her father traded her to an evil enchantress for rapunzel, a plant that would heal his dying wife. At the age of twelve, Rapunzel was trapped in a tower by the enchantress, forbidden to leave.
  • Rising Action
  • Rapunzel meets a prince and the two fall in love, but the enchantress doesn't know. 
  • Climax
  • The prince goes to Rapunzel's tower everyday, and they talk about getting married.
  • Falling Action & Conclusion
  • While Rapunzel is talking with the enchantress, she accidentally mentions the prince. The enchantress becomes furious. She cuts off all of Rapunzel's hair and banishes her into a desert.
  • When the prince came back and climbed Rapunzel's hair to get into the tower, he saw the enchantress and jumped out of the tower. He survived the fall, but landed in a thorn bush. The thorns pierced his eyes and blinded him.
  • The prince wandered the forest and almost died of starvation when he came into the same desert as Rapunzel. He followed the sound of her voice and eventually found her. While hugging him, Rapunzel began to cry. Her tears seeped into his eyes, curing him of his blindness. The prince then took Rapunzel back to his kingdom, where they lived happily ever after.
