I've completed all my chores on the list. Time to go home now, but I gotta count tips first
*Upset hateful words*
How hard is it to get stuff done when you have five hours and a list to do it?!
Who needs her anyways.
McKenna finishes cleaning the lobby, which is the last chore on the list. Which means she can collect the tips then go home.
What idiots. At least wait for me to leave to start talking badly about me. Im going to go talk to Laura and tell her how I feel.
While counting tips, McKenna overheard resentful impolite comments coming from a couple of her co-workers.
Hey Laura, I over heard you and Toni talking about me and i didn't really appericate it. Next time if you have a problem with something I've done i'd appericate it if you talk to me about it.
The manager, Laura , and Toni the baker were talking badly of her in the next room over. They believed McKenna had already left work.
I'm sorry McKenna, i didn't mean to hurt your feelings. I was just upset. Next time I will approach you.
Even though McKenna is frustrated with what has been said, and would rather just walk out to avoid conflict, she decides to be assertive and address Laura to acknowledge to her that she heard everything she had said.
McKenna tells Laura how she feels.
Laura acknowledges she hurt McKenna's feelings and apologizes.
