Tom,and some friends showed up at Gatsby's house and Gatsby offered them all in for dinner. They end saying they cant stay and then the invite Gatsby to dinner. The invitation was just to be polite, this is only building the "old money" "new money" beef.
Gatsby has a party that Tom and Daisy both showed up to. Daisy and Gatsby dance together, but she is having a bad time. As Tom and Daisy are leaving Tom trys to say Gatsbys money is from bootlegging Daisy and Nick both stand up for Gatsby, Daisy says his money is from drugstores that he built him self
After the party Gatsby is upset because he knows that Daisy had a bad time,and she does understand the feeling that he has for her. Nick tried to tell him things will not go like before but Gatsby is determined to accomplish The American Dream
Tom and Daisy had luch with Gatsby an this is where Tom realized that Gatsby and Daisy were in love, They both locked eyes as Daisy told Gatsby that he looked like an adertisement,
When they go to the city everything really goes down hill for Tom, Daisy,and Gatsby. Gatsby tells Tom that Daisy was always in love with him and that she always will be,they argued about that subject for a while and daisy admits that she does love Gatsby and that she is leaving. Tom says fine have her. On the way home Daisy is driving in Gatbys car and the young woman myrtle who Toms having an affair with runs into the street and Daisy hits and kills her. Myrtle thought it was Toms car because he was driving it earlier. When Myrtle dis is pretty much ruins everyone's dreams.
When George Wilson finds out Myrtle has been killed he thinks Gatsby did it. He goes and finds Gatsby and kills him and him self. Nick trys to set up a funeral for Gatsby but no one will answer. Finally Gatsby father calls, Henry Gatz. The funeral is rainy and its seems if no one showed up because they didn't appreciate anything Gatsby did. except for Nick and Gatsby's father
