Romeo, you must go at once!
Romeo is banished from Verona!
It wasn't Romeo's fault
It was a hot afternoon in Verona and Mercutio and Benvolio were relaxing. All of a sudden, Tybalt arrives and demands to speak to them about attending the Masque Ball uninvited. A fight breaks out between Tybalt and Mercutio. Tybalt stabs Mercutio and kills him.
Romeo has been banished!
Upset and angry about his best friend being killed in front of him, Romeo follows Tybalt. They fight and Romeo stabs Tybalt with his dagger. Benvolio urges Romeo to leave as Tybalt drops to the floor in a pool of blood.
What am I going to do Friar?
You must go and see Juliet at once and tell her what happened.
Word soon gets around about Tybalt and Mercutio's death. The Capulets and Montagues begin arguing on the street when the Prince enters and banishes Romeo from Verona forever.
Juliet is alone in her room waiting for Romeo to visit. Juliet's Nurse comes in and tells her about Tybalt and how Romeo is banished from Verona. She is distraught and demands her Nurse to bring her Romeo.
Alone in Friar Laurence's room, Romeo is panicking. He couldn't just leave Verona, he couldn't just leave Juliet. Romeo asks Friar Laurence for his advice. The Friar tells Romeo to go and see Juliet.
Romeo visits Juliet as promised. He explains everything to Juliet and promises to find a way for them to be together. Romeo stays the night and in the morning leaves for Mantua.
