  • My son is going to burn down the city of Troy!
  • The images that Hecuba had in her dreams of Troy burning down from her son that would be a torch.
  • Agelaos gave the Prophets the fake tongue of his child that they demanded.
  • Hecuba has a dream that her son will give birth to a torch.  She gets very scared and does not want to have her son Paris.
  • If I leave my son here he should be killed by wild animals. 
  • Queen Hecuba imaged this while she was having terrible dreams about her son burning down the walls of Troy.
  • I can't believe it my son is being cared for by these wild animals.
  • The Prophets told the Hecuba that they needed to kill the baby, to prevent the destruction of Troy, so they followed what the Prophets said. And gave him the tongue.
  • Thanks to my father I am now a great hunter and a brave strong man.
  • Agelaos took his son to the top of the mountain where he was certain to be killed by some sort of wild animals and ran away.
  • Agelaos returned to the same spot the next day, to his surprise baby Paris was alive and being cared for by a family of bears his was in shock.
  • Agelaos took Paris to secretly raise his son, he taught him to hunt and tend herds on the mountain slopes. Paris was a strong and healthy and grew into strikingly yet humble young man.
