  • Welcome to our presentation of
  • The Squire's Tale
  • We start off at the Hosts Residence
  • Oh Squire, tell us a story of love.
  • The Host asks the Squire to tell a story
  • I'll say what I can.
  • King Cambiuskan
  • He starts of telling a story about the birthday feast of the king of Tartary, and his children, the princes Algarsyf, Cambalo, and Princess Canance
  • Prince Algarsyf
  • Prince Cambalo
  • Princess Canance
  • A man wearing a ring comes into the hall with a brass horse, carrying a mirror and sword.
  • And finally a sword which will cut through any armor and its cuts will never heal unless hit again with the flat of the blade
  • For your birthday king, a brass horse that can fly anyone to wherever they want.
  • The king of Arabia salutes you.
  • And for the princess, a ring with which you can talk to birds, gives you knowledge about herbs. And also, a mirror which shows you who your friends are and thoughts of lovers
  • The subjects of the king are mostly interested in the horse
  • It's just a magicians illusion.
  • It's like the Trojan Horse!
