Fat soluble vitamins get carried around the body attached to molecules of fat.
We travel through the small intestine into the bloodstream.
We then get stored in the liver or fat tissues.
Back outside of Jack's body...
I know what vitamins do and how they travel through my body but why do I need to eat more of them?
If you don't eat enough vitamins you may find yourself having memory loss, gum problems, a slower immune system or other side affects of vitamin deficiency.
Another worry is that when you don't eat enough vitamins, you may develop nasty diseases.
