  • Meet Jasmine and Macy. While preparing dinner, Jasmine makes her daughter, Macy, a quick fruit salad.
  • Fortunately,Macy's body was able to fight against the Salmonella, but this could have been prevented.
  • Time to cut the ham. Where is the knife I was using for the strawberries?
  • Thanks mommy!

  • The next morning, Macy wakes up feeling sick. 
  • Next time, to help prevent Salmonella in her household, Jasmine has to learn how to follow food safety. 
  • MOMMY, I DON'T FEEL SO WELL...
  • Jasmine did not realize that her daughter was sick with Salmonella from her failure to separate uncooked meat and ready to eat fruit.
