Hello, my name is Hipparches. I am one of the important astronomers in Ancient Greece. I named and studied more than 850 stars! I also improved the helpful astronomical instruments. What I am working on is the discipline of trigonometry.
Hello Aristarchus, would you like to introduce yourself?
Hey Hipparchus, can I use extensive observations to figure out the movements of the planets and stars? I would be very helpful!
I am Aristarchus, you may know as "The Philosopher". I just proved that the earth was spherical. I figured this out by looking back at my notes that said that the earth is revolved around the sun.
Did you know that I came up with a scale to define the brightness of stars?
Did you know that the sun was actually in the center of the universe?
I am also known for coming up with a revolutionary astronomical hypothesis.
Wow, it is so cool what you can learn from Greece and there contributions!
Yeah, without Hipparchus' theories, scientists wouldn't predict the eclipse of the moon!
