Jew and soldiers.
Character vs Society
" All Jews outside " ( Wiesel 13 )
Character vs Character
"Twenty-four ... twenty-five!" ( Wiesel 55 )
Character vs Self
" This was the end! " ( Wiesel 107 )
Soldier telling Jews to get outside. They are in the ghetto, and there are soldiers and " prisoners " everywhere. This is Character vs Society because the society is telling Jews what to do.
Soldier whipping Jew for walking in on him doing something he shouldn't so now the soldier is teaching him a lesson for wondering around the building. This is character vs character because the solider is whipping him for a personal issue between them, not because he was told too.
They had very little hope. Good overcame evil. At some positions evil overcomes hope and faith, but not this time. Never loose hope and never give up. This is character vs self because the Jews started to give up on them self's and their families and they started to question their beliefs. but in the end they didn't loose, they won, not just on the outside but in the inside too.
