  • The Monsters are Due on Maple Street/ Exposition
  • Conflict
  • What was that?
  • Aliens don't want you to go.  You have to stay here.
  • Rising Action
  • Why is his car only working?!  I think that Les has been the monster the entire time!
  • What's that?
  • Characters: Steve Brand, Pete Van Horn, Charlie, Tommy, Don Martin, and Les Goodman. Setting(when/where): Where: Maple Street When: In the evening or 6:43 pm
  • Climax
  • Why did you do that!! It's only Pete Vam Horn!
  • There was a loud sound and a bright streak of light that came across the sky.  People's machines stopped working and the citizens started to accuse one another.
  • Falling Action
  • I think that Charlie is the monster.  He's the one that killed Pete! 
  • Event 1: Tommy starts to tell Steve that the aliens don't want them to leave.  Event 2: Les' car works when no one else's does.  The citizens become frazzled and accuse Les of being the monster. Event 3: The citizens start to hear footsteps. They think it's a monster, but it is actually Pete Van Horn.
  • Resolution
  • There's a lot more Maple Streets in the world.  Time to "visit" the rest and watch them destroy each other with their own thoughts.
  • Our plan was a huge success!!
  • *footsteps*
  • Charlie shoots Pete Van Horn.
  • I didn't mean to!  I didn't even know it was him!!!
  • I don't know what you're talking about Charlie!! Tommy  is certainly NOT a monster!!
  • Event 1: The citizens start to accuse Charlie because he shot Pete Van Horn. Event 2: Charlie starts to accuse Tommy because he knew so much about the monsters.
  • What?!  I didn't mean to kill him!  I thought he was a monster or something!  I think that Tommy is the monster.  He knows so much about the aliens!
  • The citizens will soon destroy each other with their own thoughts.  The alien's plan was successful.
