  • The Battle of Gonzales was the first battle of the Texas Revolution. The Texans won and they knew there was no turning back. They fought over a cannon to start the revolution.
  • The Constitutional Convention of 1836
  • The Massacre of Goliad was the second battle of the Texas Revolution. The Texans attacked the Mexican army.
  • The Battle of San Jacinto
  • The Battle of the Alamo was remembered as a heroic struggle against impossible odds. Sam Houston ordered the Alamo to be destroyed. Santa Anna won.
  • The T
  • At the Constitutional Convention of 1836 delegates met and decided to declare independence at Washington-on-the-Brazos. Within the next 2 weeks they created a constitution.
  • At the Battle of San Jacinto, Santa Anna was captured. Last battle of the Texas Revolution. Texas won!
  • At the Treaties of Velasco, the President of TX (Davie Burnett) and Santa Anna made a public treaty to stop the fighting. The Treaty stated Santa Anna was to try to make Texas independent; Texas did it on their own.
