Livingstone was born in Blantyre, South Lanarkshire, Scotland on March 19, 1813.
Livingstone studied at Charing Cross Hospital Medical School in 1838-40
Livingstone identified numerous geographical features for western science such as lakes.
He went on the Zambezi expedition. The expedition lasted from March 1858 until the middle of 1864.
Livingstone wrote of the slave trade in the African Great Lakes region which he visited in the mid19th century
Livingstone died in 1837 at the age of 60, in llala from malaria and internal bleeding.
