The gang of 7 decide to go on a camping trip during the Commemoration day weekend, to spend time with friends and nature in a unique place called 'Hell' & the only person to ever go there before them was The Hermit, known as a murderer
During their camping trip, at night Ellie; the main character, wakes up from the sound of jet engines and the smell of jet fuel. She thought they were just commemoration day planes, but they didn't look like Australia's planes, she thought something a bit fishy was happening
When the gang returns from 'Hell' they go back to Ellie's house and realize her pets were dead. The houses were deserted & nothing could be found. Later they decide to see if anythings up at the showgrounds, & there they find themselves in contact with armed soldiers, then they ran.
After being chased by armed soldiers, Ellie, Corrie & Kevin run into a backyard to hide, Ellie quickly devises a plan without thinking of an outcome, & blows up a lawn mower. It exploded into fire and caused 3 soldiers to die. Because of this Ellie was scarred for what she did, & now she knew there was war & a lot of upcoming ugly decisions
The gang see the soldiers using the bridge as access into town. They use this as an advantage & decide to blow up the bridge, just like how they blew up the mower, but this time with a fuel truck. The plan succeeds and the fuel truck explodes, demolishing the bridge, and killing some of the soldiers on it
Just after the explosion, Corrie gets shot badly. She needs serious help and the gang has no other option other than going to the hospital, which means they might get captured, but they must make this sacrifice for the sake of Corrie. 2 people go with Corrie and the others head back to their new home, Hell. What happens next?
