A long time ago, in the heavens, Poseidon and Erebus fell in love with a beautiful goddess.
The stubborn and love sick gods argued over her until war broke out.
They heaved giant boulders and water balls at each other. Then the Goddess accidentally encountered them fighting to death.
The caring goddess dived into the middle of the crossfire to save the two gods. Unfortunately, she was hit in the chest by Erebus' boulder and Poseidon's water. She died instantly.
Magically, the place where the materials coiled into her did not decay like her body did. Instead her heart formed the Earth from the water and rock which fused together from the love that each god was fighting for when they accidentally hit her.

If Poseidon and Erebus weren't aggressive and caught up in their fight the goddess would have never been killed. If the goddess were not so selfless and caring she would not have sacrificed herself. However all these actions had to be made in order for the earth to be formed.
